Our traditional and adaptive clothing and footwear is both functional and attractive. In fact, we work directly with our manufacturers to design traditional and adaptive clothing and footwear that provide dignity and comfort without sacrificing style. We believe that when someone looks good, it improves their quality of life.
Our
adaptive clothing is designed to look like regular clothing, but with special adaptations to make it easy to dress and undress the wearer with limited range of motion. Our adaptive clothing utilizes snaps, zippers, and Velcro® in back opening, side opening, and shoulder opening styles to make assisted dressing easy. For your convenience, we carry women's dusters, back opening women’s blouses, muumuus, side opening pants, plus size women's clothing, adult bibs and clothing protectors, a number of clothing solutions for dementia and advanced Alzheimer’s disease patients, Diabetic footwear, slipper socks, edema socks, and Velcro® shoes and slippers.
Our
traditional clothing is regular clothing that does not include the special features to aid in assisted dressing. However, all of our traditional clothing is tailored to the needs and tastes of our senior clientele. Our traditional clothing designs are relaxed in the waist and hip areas to accommodate those who sit for long periods of time, and as with all of our clothing, is manufactured to withstand the rigors of industrial laundering. All of our traditional clothing is designed for style, comfort and simplicity.
Our
footwear is explicitly designed to accommodate a broad range of common foot problems, including edema and swelling, hammertoes, diabetes, arthritis and many other medical conditions. We carry selections of footwear most preferred by our senior clientele and most widely used in nursing facilities. Most of our footwear styles incorporate Velcro® to make it easy to get shoes on and off whether an individual is dressing herself or has someone assisting her with dressing.
